I have had such a wonderful experience learning at your facilities. From the professional, friendly and fun staff, to the understanding teachers. Some of the best I've every had. To the helpful attitude I encounter very day, you have impressed me. Thank you for everything and keep up the wonderful work. Hopefully I’ll see you again in the future to continue my study of Arabic.

  ACL,   Words cannot accurately express how much I will miss your beautiful country in any language. I love the people, and the culture, and everything about Misr so much, and I am having a difficult time accepting that I must go.This has, without a doubt, been the best summer of my life.     To everyone at the ACL,           I cannot thak you all enough for every thing over this year. From the beginning the support and expertise of the centre was clear for all to see. Magda should be (and I'm sure is) proud of the fantastic group of teachers. As others have said the knowledge of both Gad and Ansary is unbelievable, it was a priveledge to study under them both. Ansary's knowledge of English is certainly something to aim for in Arabic! Dina gave us all a great grounding in Amiyya and then in Media. Finally Shereen's lessons have meant I have reached a level of Arabic which I thought would not be possible. Thank you for putting up with my complaints that I didn't understand!. Ingy also must be mentioned for all her work on our behalf she was phenomenal. Thank you for everything this year and I hope to be back one day. Angusطارق Leeds 2010/2011

    Dear ACL,           To say that I had a great year is an understatement. The ACL has both improved my Arabic and helped me adapt to Egypt to an extent I could never have expected ACL's strength is in its staff- you have such a strong team of people, from the teachers to the administrators. Each teacher has a phenomenally deep knowledge of his/her subject area and a wonderful ability to pass on their knowledge to the students.           They are professional, kind and most of all friendly and approachable. I have made more progress this year then probably any other year of my studies. However the non-classroom side of the centre is absolutely brilliant. Ingy has always been there to organize everything from rent to travels and trips as well as any other help we need with life in Egypt. She has always been there for us to laugh with. But the big boss Magda makes this all possible. She oversees an exceptional centre and none of this would be possible without her. With love Nat خالد Leeds 2010/2011  

    To everyone at the ACL,           I wish I could put into words how much I have appreciated all your help this year, both academically and generally getting along in Egypt. No problem is too small to solve and I really feel like I have improved so much in my Arabic and as a student this year. I have enjoyed my year here in Egypt and the ACL played a major in that.     Dear ACL,           I'm so happy that it worked out that we came to Alexandria rather than Cairo. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable or more academically advantageous year. All the teachers at the centre have been so kind and patient and I can't thank them enough for everything they've done this past year. I looked forward to every class and the staff at ACL became family to me. I now call Alexandria home and am so sad to leave. This year has passed all too quickly. Wish I was coming back in September, but I wish the centre and everyone there all the best and much success in future years. Keep in touch and can't wait to come back and visit.
